Holiday Inn Barrie Hotel & Conference Centre Pet Policy
It is our pleasure to welcome your pet to our Pet Friendly Barrie hotel. We have designated select rooms in the hotel as pet rooms only. Please inform the hotel that you are bringing your pet when making your reservations.
To ensure a comfortable stay for yourself and your fellow guests, we would appreciate it if you would please observe the following guidelines:
- A maximum of two pets allowed per room with combined weight of not more than 110lbs.
- No exotic species, no birds, no reptiles.
- Your pet must be kept on a leash when it is in the hotel or on hotel property, unless it is in your room. Note that pets are not allowed in our restaurant, pool and hot tub area, or any other common area of the hotel other than to move from your guestroom to the outdoors, and to return. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.
- You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on hotel property as well as in and around Barrie.
- Pets may be left unattended in your room ONLY if the pet is crated while you are gone.
- Any disturbances, such as barking, should be curtailed to ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced. Please leave your cellular phone number with Guest Services, so we are able to contact you in the event of a disturbance. Please note that if a disturbance is caused by your pet that affects the comfort of other guests, you may be expected to compensate the hotel for potential loss of revenue. If we continue to get complaints about the noise we will be obliged to ask you to leave.
- Please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing your room. No attempt will be made to enter if there is a pet in the room, unless the owner is present. The pet owner should be in the room when it is cleaned if the pet is present.
- Extra fees may be incurred should there be significant additional cleaning required.
- You agree to be responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from your pet. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel; its owners and operators, from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
- Pets are not to be bathed in hotel sinks or bathtubs as this may cause damage to plumbing.
